Spring is here, which means in with the new and out with the old, including your winter wardrobe. Make room for the new season at Wingreen Court Apartments (2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 10 & 11 Wingreen Court) with donation suggestions from today’s post by the Greenrock Property Management blog team.
New Circles (161 Bartley Drive) is a not-for-profit that offers resources and support to residents in need, including those who are homeless and those who are new to the country. This agency is currently accepting clothes of all kinds, from kids’ coats to adult footwear. To take your winter wardrobe to New Circles for donation, plan on just a five-minute drive from Wingreen Court Apartments.
Dress Your Best
Men can donate their gently used winter professional wear to Dress Your Best. This Toronto organization supplies disadvantaged men with a professional wardrobe that they can wear to an interview or to their workplace. The Dress Your Best Men’s Boutique is located at The Walmer Centre (188 Lowther Avenue, 3rd floor), a 20-minute drive from Wingreen Court Apartments.
Dress For Success
Similar to Dress Your Best, Dress For Success accepts professional clothing for women. Plan to drop off your winter wardrobe here soon, as the boutique is not accepting donations from May 16th through July 4th. Donations can be taken to the same location as Dress Your Best at The Walmer Centre.
Dr. Roz’s Healing Place
Another spot in Toronto where your winter wardrobe can help others is Dr. Roz’s Healing Place (3049 Kingston Road), a 15-minute drive from Wingreen Court Apartments. This local centre works specifically with women and their children who have experienced violence. One of the services offered is clothing. Donate clothing of any type, for all ages.
