Balliol Street Townhouse Profile

Davisville, the home of our Balliol Townhouses, was once a small settlement north of Toronto named for John Davis, a British immigrant who settled the area in 1840. Today, the Davisville Village area is known for its shopping and nightlife balanced with a family-friendly setting. At Greenrock Property Management, we’re happy to be part of the Davisville Village community in the heart of midtown Toronto.

Each three-bedroom townhouse in Davisville Village offers approximately 1800 square feet of living space. The master bedroom includes en-suite facilities and each unit is equipped with in-suite laundry, generous closet space and parquet hardwood flooring. The kitchens include a dishwasher, new appliances and ample cabinet space.  As a bit of added luxury, the homes also feature a sizeable family room and a wood-burning fireplace.

From Davisville Village, residents can take care of daily errands on foot. Walkscore ranks Balliol Townhouses as a Walker’s Paradise with a score of 90 points. If you’re not a full-time car owner but still need some wheels on occasion, there are also six Zipcar Carshare locations within a few blocks of the townhouses.  With excellent transit access, the townhouses are a quick walk to the subway with access to the Yonge line from Davisville Station. The Bayview, Davisville and Yonge bus routes are also within the block.

For groceries, you’ll find a Sobeys Urban Fresh location just down the street. The store is just two minutes away on foot, making it perfect for day-to-day shopping or errands. There’s also an additional six grocery and produce markets within a few blocks. As part of the larger Greenrock at Davisville Village community, residents of the Balliol Townhouses have access to the pool at one of the neighbouring Greenrock apartment buildings.

Most units also include balconies facing the courtyard with landscaped gardens. Recently, the townhouses were recognized for exterior property improvements with the Curb Appeal Award by the Federation of Rental-housing Providers of Ontario (FRPO). The Balliol Townhouses were given the award for their gardens, landscaping, structural design and eye-pleasing exteriors.
