Eglinton Park features a variety of different facilities and amenities including sports fields, tennis courts, baseball diamonds, a playground, wading pool and more. In the winter there are also two artificial ice rinks and a fantastic tobogganing hill for the youngsters. Free parking is available on the side streets as well as ample underground parking for a small fee.

Eglinton Park is also home to a number of different sports teams, recreational groups and the North Toronto Community Memorial Centre. The North Toronto Baseball Association and North Toronto Soccer Club are two groups that frequently use Eglinton Park for their sporting activities. The North Toronto Community Memorial Centre is a multi-use complex located on the border of the park that features indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a fitness centre, weight room, gymnasium and walking track. The centre also offers a variety of free programs for all ages, including fitness lessons and free swim programs. Finally, Eglinton Park is also home to a variety of different local fitness classes mommy groups and summer camps. Be-Fit Boot Camp is a results-oriented and personalized outdoor training company that uses the park as its home base.
