We get it, some days you simply have zero interest in heading out to the gym. Maybe you are too tight for time to do your crunches, or you feel like all those jumping jacks and squats are ineffective. We can’t make the workouts easy, but at least you can do them from the comfort and privacy of your Davisville Village apartment.
15 Minute Beginner Workout
This easy to follow home workout video is a great for beginners. It focuses on form and building strength, but don’t expect it to be a breeze. All you need is 15 minutes. You can do this!
This 20 minute Short Circuit workout packs a lot of intensity into a short amount of time. It requires no equipment so you have now excuses! It’s a circuit of 6 exercises to work your whole body. You complete each circuit (all 6 exercises without stopping), take a 2 minute rest and then repeat. Complete each circuit 3-4 times, or as many times as you can in 20 minutes.
Ok, say you found an excuse not to do the workout above because you couldn’t find the 20 minutes. This Bodyweight Burnout also requires no equipment and packs a full body, intense workout into just 13 minutes. There is a video to show you how to perform each exercise. Perform each of the exercises for the prescribed amount of time, then rest for 15 seconds between each exercise. When you complete all 6 exercises, take a 30 second rest to complete round 1, do it all over again and you’re done!
30 Minute Bodyweight Workout
This 30 Minute Bodyweight Workout is all you need to work your whole body from the comfort of your Greenrock at Davisville Village apartment. All your basic bodyweight exercises are represented from tuck jumps and mountain climbers, to tricep dips, jump planks and more! Perform 3 rounds of 12 to 15 repetitions of each exercise with a maximum 30 second break in between rounds. Go!
This one is not for beginners. If you still think you can’t get an intense, full body workout at home, you may be ready for theBodyweight Gauntlet. It uses 4 simple, basic exercises — push-ups (any variation), pull-ups (bar required), squats and burpees. You do each exercise for three full minutes, keep track of your reps, and see how fast you can progress. Are you ready to throw down the gauntlet?!
